It took more time and efforts than I ever thought about to get up the new website and the new forum. Perfection takes time...here it is! 
Fabian from Source Pulse Media did an amazing job, especially regarding the graphics! Thanks again, Fabian! 
However, all posts and all users from the former forum got deleted. Sorry for that, but I'm sure it will not take long to fill the forum with life again. So please register and post if you want and need.
Because it was demanded for so long now I set up a forum for german speaking fans as well, that section is called "Libertalia".
"War And Peace", the section about Frequently Asked Questions and the infamous Stories Behind The Songs postings from the former forums, will be filled as well. However this takes some time, so please be patient for some more and useful information.
Furtheron, if you have any comments, bugs to report or just a feeling of saying "Wow, what an amazing site!", please feel free to do this here!

So far so good!
But, why using a white forum on a nice black site?
Und nochwas, im IE6 wird das Banner mit play video, Forum, myspace, shirts, und amazon links unten angezeigt. Im Firefox rechts oben. Ich nutze zum Teil auch den IE. Wäre vielleicht nicht schlecht, wenn da das Banner auch an der gewollten Stelle steht? |

And some new backgrounds to the forum would be nice, besides white (though it's still cool I must admit)

Actually the white background is much better than a dark one and (finally) something new to the website, as it works with some white parts as well. So, no, the white background will stay for now.
@ DreamWeaver: Thanks for the bug-report. About the error-messages or the "strange" behavior in older browsers everything will be checked. The current website works on all new browsers and different systems perfectly though. |

Yes, IE6 seems to have some problems with the presentation of the new design. Another thing I noticed is that the pictures in the discography are below the songtitles. Firefox shows everything correctly. |

| Btw, can the clock be corrected? I have to put GMT +3 time there to get the right time, even though I'm living in GMT +2 zone. I think I had some similar problems at the old forum too, maybe... |

Well, the server is located in Germany and theyhave the GMT +1 zone. But you can correct everything yourself in your own profile-settings. Anyway, I changed the time-zone now. |

...I have to struggle with the white background somehow
...up to now i preferred the dark darker background for contrast reasons more - but could be just a matter of time... |

Likewise, i prefer the darker background. I find it easier on the eyes. maybe jens can rig things up so members can choose between using a light skin or a dark skin. the forum could also be made wider to make better use of the screen, at least 25% wider. the new site's design looks excellent but IMHO i prefer the old forum style. |
